Hi Michele i wouldn't worry to much, my sons partner has the same at school,when she picks up her youngest son, they look down there nose at her,my son is 10yrs younger than her, so i tell her their just jealous, like you she is so nice. i found this when my kids were at school, these clicky mums you will fiind probably backstab each other when their not at the school if their kids off sick. so in my mind you are better than them, its better to have true friends and you certainly have here. take care honey and enjoy this special time with your kids sandra

Im sorry you have a hard time at your school Michele. I used to feel a bit left out when my son was younger especially being a bit older than most of the other's but now the mum's have bonded a bit. I usually go out of my way to chat to the new mothers and encourage my son to make friends with the child who is often scared being new. Sheila p.s. I'm also a walk to school person

We have the mums who clutter together - and if you don't fit in - you are the 'outsider' - these mums think they are special and have such 'gifted children!! They think you are beneath them and they often 'snear at you because you wear jeans - why not say hello to a mum on her own??? Why are parents so obsessed with the occupation of a friends dad or mum. I walk my son 2.5 miles to school and back - beacuse I do not have a fast car or blacked out windows - and I am judged by that - I do not believe thatt money can buy a child's happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
