Ann Well done you! I also had a surreal experience with the grave of my gg grandparents and two of their children. I had searched for it for ages, and had a last attempt on my way home from work one evening. I went into the graveyard around sunset time, and the heavens opened. I had no coat but was determined to carry on. Five minutes later I was standing, soaked to the skin, in front of their small gravestone. It was worn and had been vandalised but was definitely theirs. It was only the very heavy rain that highlighted the script on the stone enough for me to read. That moment when I stood next to the grave in an isolated graveyard, with the light dimming, and in torrential rain, will stay with me forever. Angela

I went to a cemetry today, and was searching for the grave of my g-g-g-grandfather- he was about the only person in our family who had a bit of money, so I was sure he would have a proper headstone- I got to the last row in the grave yard, with no luck, and I was just saying to my Dad who was with me that I was surprised that we had not found him, when I looked down and there it was- his grave- I was standing right next to it!!!It felt quite strange- like he was almost calling out saying 'here I am!!!'.I was dead chuffed to find it- even with a bit of help 'from above!!!'
