Grrrr! After not received a reply from the email address I was told to email, I emailed the one given on a receipt from the FRC. They replied, for which I am grateful, but my experience with them is dire. I have not got my certificate I ordered on 22nd June. Even using the 4 working days thing, it should have been sent out on 28th. And this is what I get!!! Where the hell is my certificate!? I bet there's something wrong with it *cries* Dear Ms Perren Thank you for your email regarding the status of your on-line order - COL 244818. I have consulted our on-line records and your order was not due out till 29.6.2004. If you do not receive either a certificate or any communication from us by Tuesday 13.7.2004, please contact us again and we will duplicate this order. I apologise if any inconvenience has been caused. |

Hi Chloe, will a laugh at someone stupid make you feel better?? Amongst all my own searching, I am helping my sister-in-law and ordered her grandfather's birth cert online. I hoped that they would get it out in the 4 days so that it would be here last weekend when she came to visit .... but nothing .... so I thought maybe they're busy again, I'll give it a few more days. Last night went on there and ordered some certs of my own ..... and found hers still in my 'shopping basket', I must have got sidetracked and forgot to go to the checkout LOL Silly me!! Yesterday (30/6) they gave me a despatch date of 7 July, which is a week although they'd got it back to a few days recently. Fingers crossed for you Chloe (and I spelt your name right!), Mandy :))) |

Thanks Mandy. hehe. Made me giggle, better than crying. It's so annoying though. This would tell me my ggg grandmother's maiden name!! I think it's Dusolei but need it confirmed so got a certificate of another child of their's.... grrrr! Better come tomorrow!!!! I can;t wait until the 13th!! |
