What's the weather like down there?

Mixed weather, I'm afraid, Tricia, much like the rest of the country! My younger stepson's coming down this weekend with friends, he's into surfing etc, so may be off to Woolacombe or Saunton Sands, our nearest beaches. Or, as it's breezy, he may enjoy his other sport, kiting on his beachboard! Things they get up to nowadays! Hope you have a good time, Philip

Tricia, lovely part of the country and I hope you have a nice time. If you log on to www(.)bbc(.)co(.)uk it's their homepage and there is a weather map. If you type in Torquay or somewhere in the area (TQ1 if you need a postcode) it will give you a five-day weather forecast. Hope it stays dry for you. Mandy :)

We haven't been before Anne but are really looking forward to it as everyone i have spoken to have "raved" about the scenery and telling me there is plenty to do. Not too bothered to have brilliant sunshine would just like it to be dry. lol Tricia

Don't know what the weather is like but envy you going to Torquay, lovely area, we go there for weekends at least once a year, love to walk along te prom to Paignton, or out to Cockington. If you haven't been there before there is plenty to see/do in the area. Ann Glos

Hi, I am going to Torquay this week coming and was just wondering if any one on the boards stays there and can tell me what the forecast is. Much appreciated:-))) Tricia
