Eileen, Love it! I love Rotties, and can just imagine the innocent look, "Who me? No there's nothing in my mouth!" Rebecca

This reminds me of our beloved Rottweiler who died a good few years ago now. She came in from the garden quite happy one night and when i looked at her, her mouth was closed, but there was two legs dangling from each side. I made her open her mouth and there was a huge toad! There wasn't a mark on it either, she just brought it in to me!!!! I took it up the garden and let it go and it was fine. So much for the bad reputations Rottys get!

One of my cats has a fetish for polystyrene! She's always bringing bits of it in.

Rebecca, I don't mean to be alarmist but a dog we had many years ago found a hedgehog. Thought nothing of it and then a few days later the poor dog was covered in fleas. Apparently hedgehogs have loads of them. Just keep a look out. Janet

Last night I was sitting watching tv when my German shepherd wandered in from the garden. He dropped something at my feet. I didn't pay much attention, as he often decides he wants to play ball at night. Imagine my shock when I bent down to pick up the "ball" and found ---- A HEDGEHOG!!!! The poor little thing must have been frightened witless. I got some towels and picked it up, went into the garden to put it down and there is my dog, waiting for me to throw it for him! Did he not notice that this "ball" was sharp? I had a good look in his mouth, and couldn't see any damage, and the hedgehog was gone an hour later when I checked, so I think it was ok too. Rebecca
