this is my second attempt at this reply. Ihave been having a lot of problems with slow sites of late; so much so that I returned my PC to the builder(PC) who found that despite me running spybot I had nearly 300 cookies lurking in the system. These have been cleared and now the puter is flying along. So the moral seems to be check for hidden nasties. Regards Ernest
