Oh David! You bring tears to my eyes! Such a beautiful name Anneliese, so South African! I am sure that you will do what is right for you when it is right for you. Hugs, Lindy

David, Anneliese was my age, I feel for you, you must miss her so much. but I am sure that she would have wanted someone to benefit from the use of her clothes. They are only clothes, Anneliese is in your heart. she will always remain with you. My thoughts are with you Ann Glos

Thinking of you David, and of Anneliese, it does get easier, though we never forget. My parents only just got past their 40th anniversary before we lost Mam. I have my bad days, and i know Dad does too, but somehow we find the strength to get past them. We have found it helps to have nice smiling photos of Mam about so we can chat to her when we need to. You may find it easier to go through the clothes slowly--a drawer or cupboard at a time. I found doing it all in one go too much, but bit by bit was bearable and gave me the chance to let the memories sink in and the tears flow when needed. Many of us here have been through loss and we are all here for you to talk to. Best wishes, Sal.x

Hello to all you lovely people, i,ve had to go and compose myself for a while after reading all of your wonderful thoughts and good advice, how nice to be able to gather such support and kindness it really filled me up. I sat down with a photo and talked to her through my tears and feel that she will as so many of you say agree with what ever i choose to do with her clothes. Yes i have a daughter who will i am sure help, if i can do it now is the time with all your good vibes i'll give it a try. As so many of you say were ever the clothes go someone will benefit, I will ring Sue Ryder Hospice who were so good to her and ask them. My wifes name was Anneliese we were devoted to each other, which makes it harder, she was only 64 years old. I will update if or when it happens. My kind regards and grateful thanks to you all David
