We had an email a while ago from ntl telling us not to download anything from their emails as there was a scam going around. If there was an microsoft update for a virus it would be from microsoft anyway and not in email form, certanly not from ntl. I would do a virus scan just to make sure. Dawn

margaret I had one of those emails but my brother-in-law advised me not to open the attachment and delete the message which I did, I have had very strange emails lately including 10 returned by the postmaster all written in german and addressed to someone in berlin that I was supposed to have sent, I cant even speak german. jenny.

Did anyone have a problem with there e-mails and then on entering Microsoft Internet Explorer had a warning come up about a stinger,netsky virus and a down load from NTL? THis happened to me yesterday and I did the download that took ages and it closed the computer down at the end off loading. I hope I did the right thing that is why I am asking if anyone had the same.Margaret
