Well actually, she is going to a garden party at Buckingham Palace!* * * * * * * * * Oooooh I hear you cry - posh ;o)) * * * * * * * * * The weather forecast is terrible, and she's bought a posh frock, strappy sandals and a hat! * * * * * * * * If you knew my Katie, you would know how unlike her that is. She's like her Mum and prefers jeans & t-shirt. LOL * * * * * * * * She has a 'Queen Mum' umbrella (see through) but she won't be able to hold it up in this wind & rain!* * * * * * * * * ** * I'll let you know how she got on on Friday :-D Sue

Katie probably won,t even notice the weather,she will be that exited with the party itself, and doing something which will be a memory forever.I hope she has a great time,and look forward to finding out how she got on.Fred.

Our office gets about 60 invites each year which are allocated to our local Branches. We gather them here, give them a lunch and then put them on a coach to the palace. One yesterday, one next Tuesday and one the following Tuesday.

Katie will have a good day i'm sure what ever the weather, remember it's by invitation only so she can puff out her chest and feel special, i've been to two through my regimental conections (Grenadier Guards), My late wife was chuffed to bits, but her boss was as jealous muck, enjoy Katie.
