Can't help directly about your photo but when I was seeking one of my grandparent's house, which I knew was demolished c. 1965, I phoned a pub in their village and asked if they would put up a postcard request for one. They agreed to do that, I posted my requirement to them and I got my photo via. one of the local villagers.

I don,t know where clayhills is ,but i know our local library have hundreds off photos of newcastle and the surrounding villages from the early 1900s ,you could try there .Fred.
