Dentist suggested I use electric (being a smoker) and have never looked back. Teeth & gums have improved no end and apparantly they are better for your gums! (according to my dentist!)

Def electric. Since I have been using an electric toothbrush my dentist always says how clean they look and I hardely ever have to have them cleaned and polished at the dentist.
