I am looking for a Welsh ex merchant navy WW2 seaman called George Jones. During ww2 he met and got engaged to my Aunt - Miss Shirley Miller in Sydney, however after the war ended they were never able to catch up - due to the distance. My Aunt is now in the somewhat 'autumn years' of her life and would desperately like to make contact with him or at the very least find out what happened to. He was approx born in 1920 - in Wales, but during WW2 his family were living in Liverpool. He also had family on the east coast USA. He had auburn hair, was approx 5'8-5'10 and had been an office clerk before the war. |
