Thanks for the warning Jo. You hear about these scams but it's quite scary when it actually happens to you. Good job you had your wits about you, it's so easy to be 'put on the spot' when the phone rings. Mandy :) |

I just had a strange phone call. It was somebody with a bad accent telling me I had not paid my BT phone bill and I could be cut off. Would I like to pay it right now with my debit or credit card over the phone? Well I know the bill has been paid recently so I said I did'nt understand and she put the phone down. Just be warned, Jo. |
