Emma - aren't all little boys like that? A 'big' theme like that might be easier for other parents too - most kids have got something that they could dress up in - if only some Mickey Mouse ears!!

Another thought - why not make it a Disney party? Your daughter could still be pretty as Beauty and your son could be a little beast lol

Emma - they can be Ken! or you could have a combined party - Barbie/Action Man (or what ever todays little boys toys are) and do camouflage icing on some cakes etc. Mags

Thanks mags but swimming out of the question as the kids cant swim, dont want anythink to happen to them. But i dont want to pay alot as her birthday is just after xmas. The theme one sounds good tho, shes into barbie at the minute so that should be good dressing up for the kids.

Teddy Bear's Picnic in the park? - ok if the weathers fine (!) Does your local swimming pool have a children's pool that you can hire? You'd need lots of helpers with that one though. Hire a room locally and have a theme party - fancy dress according to the theme - and take a disc player for the music. Have you got a pub nearby with one of those ball play areas? can't think of anything else right now - have fun!
