If any of you win the lottery what would you do with the money, would it change you, would you give up work, would you treat the family?. Because if i did win it i would have to be greedy and win the lot (19 million on wednesday) just to keep the family happy,(and i have alot of family). i would have my house built for me the way i want it to be, i dont drive but i would buy hubby as many cars as he wanted, kids would want for nothing. But i havent won it yet so fingers crossed for wednseday!(and everybody else).

I'd look after my family and friends but I would treat myself to a car for everyday of the week, take flying lessons and plenty of holidays to see the world - you can always dream:o)

I would buy a house with a nice sized garden and a room just for me. Would fill the walls with glass-fronted shelves of books, a desk under the window looking out over the garden. Polished wood floor with a beautiful rug and rocking chair. Then I would hire a housekeeper (full time!!) and you would always know where to find me - in the garden or the library!!! Everyone else can have what they want too - just give me my dream room and garden! Maz. XX

I would have my dream home built as soon as possible. Away from the grief of a neighbour I have, that would be such a great destresser. I would have a lovely bungalow built for my mum and dad, dad is fairly disabled now with Parkinsons, mum isn't too good either, high blood pressure and diabetes. Get a full time carer sorted for them. They can't get moved to suitable accomodation as they own their own house so aren't eligible for help. I'd also get them a decent doctor. I'd get my son into a good school when he starts senior in 2 years time. My daughter has special needs so it would be nice to get her the help she needs. As she is 17 the help is in no mans land. Well that would be a great help to start with. Then I would feel really fantastic to think what else I would like to do with the rest of my life. Diane

I'd make sure that my family and friends had a share, and make donations to my favourite charities. What I'd like the most for myself is something that others of you have suggested - to have my own house built! We've lived in several houses over the years and each one has had good points and bad. I'd like to combine all the good points into one house, with some added luxuries. Mandy :)

If I won the lottery I'd be extremely surprised as I've never bought a ticket! However, if I did buy a ticket and win, I would a) give a lot to my mum to pay her back some of what she's done for me and allow her to enjoy herself even more - she's fairly brilliant at that already! b) give a bit to a charity I hold dear which helps victims of torture to rebuild their lives. c) build my ideal house d) have a fantastic round the world holiday with my family e) give up the day job and do my family history seriously, paying someone to chauffeur me round, take notes, photos etc while I do the research. f) have a mega-party for family and friends Helen

I would set my kids up for life. Buy a new house, go on holiday, help family & friends. & help the baby unit at my local hospital The Princess Alexandra Hosp. Harlow. It makes me mad when people say they want to win the lottery.....but not much...only a small win !!! ( my moaning aunt ) For heavens sake...you dont have to keep it all......think of all the help you can give people to enrich their lives.. Elaine x

If I won the 19 million, I would give about half of it to family and friends, and put the rest in the bank. Every time I saw or read about a terrible story....like a child needing money for a life-saving operation, I would take great pleasure in writing out a cheque for the full amount and sending it first class post!!

I would buy the modest (but adequate) house we are in the process of buying with a mortgage outright, walk out of my job, take up voluntary work locally, put enough money aside to see my kids through college or get them started in the world of work depending on what they want, put some aside as a deposit against their first house as they won't have much chance otherwise, put some more aside to give me a modest income for life to allow me to continue doing voluntary work for as long as I can work, then give away the rest to family and friends who need it, to the local school and playgroup and to charity. I would not set my kids up for life - never having to earn what you have can spoil you and I wouldn't wish that on them. Angela
