Hi Debbie i think i have Essery's all over the place in my family no good saying look at my tree cos they are not all on there [must do that asap] some of my essey's came from Litchdon in Barnstaple but mine must be tied up with yours somewhere along the line,i have left a message on the s/westerners thread for you ,this is getting really exciting. lol Chrissy xx

Chrissy, are you the missing link here, cos now I realise you have Esserys and my friend Debbie has BIG essery line which one of my other lines-Cawsey- married into!! So if you have Essery in Pilton area of Barnstaple and Newcombes from Bideford/Bple ...you are related to me and then to Debbie lol Get back to me soon Debbi

Hi Dawn the email was re unknown Essery ,on free bmd i found the folowing an Elizabeth Tanton married June 1868 vol 5b page 856a in Torrington the only other name was a Robert Essery, i know it dosen't mean they married each other but as you were looking for an Essery married to Elizabeth there is also a good chance they did marry,hope this is your Essery.
