Chaps and chapettes. Just to clarify something. Virtually every computer programme/website/application ever written will have a bug or two in it. Things occasionally go wrong - programmers are not Gods and make mistakes sometimes, and no matter how rigorously you test something, you cannot catch every single one. Note how many system updates and patches people like Microsoft issue. Nw, this week, we have seen a database error on this site. Lots of people reported it to GR. There has been comments about people's emails not being responded to. Well, given that they probably had hundreds, what would you prefer, that they responded to them all, or fixed the problem in a timely manner ? It has been resolved in approximately 24 hours. Lets give credit where it's due, and stop moaning about it ? What I would (and in fact will) suggest to GR though is that they maintain a "system status" link on the home page where they can post updates to known problems/service issues. Just to clarify... I have no connection to GR, or no more so than everyone else.

Paul I e mailed GR. I got a reply this morning. Thats quick enough for me ! Sometimes it seems that we are all the only ones who use GR, as we only see those on the boards. GR probably got hundreds of emails & was working the way through them. They sorted the problem last time & they sorted it again. Yes, it would be a good idea to have a NEWS FLASH section on our home page, if only to stop people moaning ! Elaine x ( who loves a good moan....no offence to other members ! )
