has anyone been to Castle Douglas in Scotland? If so what do you think. Are there any attractions you would recommend?

I was there a couple of years ago. Don't recall there being much to do at all! Nice wee place to pass through and maybe use as a base for touring the surrounding area though. Is there some particular reason you are thinking of going there? Eileen

Samantha have you checked to see if it has a website? If not, I am sure there must be a Scottish Tourist Board-type of organisation that could help. Helen
