that,s some really good news Ernest,my mother worked in the ministry all her working life ,in the ministry of food for many years in high wycombe ,and later in beaconsfield in the ministry of pensions . She made supervisor at 42 years old which means that your daughter must be really bright and full of go to get so far so soon,please add my congratulations and best wishes.Fred. |

Hi Ernest: I wanted to see what your good news was (congrats to your daughter!) and I see that she works in Braintree. My mum's cousin (her only family member still in the UK) lives in Braintree; small world, eh? |

Just had my daughter on the phone to tell me that she has won a Major promotion in her job with social services. If she wins another she will become an Assistant Director. Isnt it nice to have a clever Kid (aged 47) LOL Ernest |
