My 6 year old loves all stories but two favourites are ' We're going on a bear hunt' and 'I don't want to go to bed' which is about a little tiger, and i have to confess my favourite! Yvette |

My grandbairns like all the classics,the three bears ,goldilocks, thumbelina, but when they have been really good they get a Terri morrow special ,you should see their faces light up [ mine does too ]Fred. |

The hysterical Gruffalo, a mouse outwits all the creatures in the forest that want to eat it. (in rhyme) The Room on the Broom, also in rhyme and really funny and a lovely one called Johnny and the Big Hen, beautiful pictures, set in the summer in a farming village. Some stories you don't mind reading every night! Abigail |

Maureen You took the words out of my mouth! LOL My copy of Peace at Last has more sellotape than paper now! We're going on a Bear Hunt is one of my Grandchildren's favourites. We have to do all the actions and sound effects. Not very good for a bedtime story to wind down with! Have you read The Gruffalo? It is a wonderful story in rhyme about an imaginary monster. Or is he............? My daughters loved My Naughty Little Sister books and I've just introduced my younger Grandaughters to them. Another favourite is Funnybones, and also Burglar Bill. I love it when my Grandchildren stay the night - it gives me an excuse to read my favourite stories again! Sue |

My kids and now also my grand kids loved PEACE AT LAST and also the MY NAUGHTY LITTLE SISTER books another one is WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT. I think I can do them without the book now! |

The story I enjoyed reading to my older boy when he was a toddler was Peepo by Janet & Allan Ahlberg. My younger boy and I enjoyed Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. |
