yep, just watch your plant Anne and as it flowers, if there is no fruit behind it ,pinch the flower head off ,or all the fruit turns bitter,its worth while buying an all female to save all the hassle [and save us poor lads getting the blame again ]lolFred.P/s there is no male cucumber ,male is flower only. |

I know there is a reason why a cucumber tastes biter, but I can't remember what it is. We had three lovely sweet ones then we have just had one that was very bitter. Any ideas? Ann Glos |
