We use a "clicker" to change the TV channel (anyone remember when they did click?) Make anouncements on the "Tannoy" (Are they still in business?) I still crack eggs into a cup first (Cant remember when I last had a bad one)

The other day I got on the bus and, asked for the 'railway' station - the bus driver didn't know where I meant, until I said I wanted to catch a train. 'Oh the TRAIN station' he said, in a tone that suggested I didn't speak English properly!!!!!

Yes Helen, but we now have "wireless" networking not radio and listen to the "radio" on the net! Bob

Another eg... We still "put the kettle on" .... no we don't ... we connect it up!!! Martin

For example, when we use the phone we still use the term "dialling" a number .... most phone have key pads .... When we use a WC the term "pulling the chain" is still common. Is there any other common actions we perform now which is described by out of date technology? Martin
