Hi lou,you can get veggie sausies you know ,tasty too ,so you can still join in the fun ,such as bashing them with a hammer lol.I love the veggie burgers ,and the grills ,and being on a low fat regime ,they help keep my fat intake down,[the cauli grills are fab, have you tried them? fred.

Well, in the cold light of day I can see that you dont shop at Safeways then Brian and Fred. Their Cumberland Sausages are big, thick and long - so long in fact that they wind them into a circle - hence the curves! however, I have studied them in great depth (without handling- lol) and some are left dressing and some are right dressing!!! When I feel frisky next, I might buy a packet and get out the steak hammer!! lol Jacqui

I,m not letting Jaquie near MY sausages ,fancy attaking them that way ,ouch it sounds painful to me lol .You really should give the chicken ones a go though ,they are very tasty and are nearly fat free, without loosing their flavor.Fred.

oh dear jacqui...wot do i say without sounding like kenneth williams...i buy my cumberland big spicey sausages from sainsburies, near the crystal palace football ground, they are long, thick, and really juicey...AND THEYRE NOT CURVED...so maybe your not handling them gently enough...they dont like rough hands, they need to be nurtured, and eaten with love, and appreciation lol bryan.

Dont mean to be picky Brian, but the Cumerland Sausages in Safeway are curvey (or loopedl whichever description comes to mind - dressed to the left or right!) How can they be long and thick? Do they uncurl? or do you bash them with the potato masher to make them the shape you want? Divvie Jacqui

jaqueline,do keep up girl, pay attention,or stand in the divvie corner.....my sausages have to be long, thick, and very tasty! that is why i think cumberland cannot be beaten! small thin ones seem to lack the necessary taste, but as i said, its all a matter of individual needs lol. bryan.

No I have never eaten such things, thank god! Sausages should contain pork and not much else I think! Still might try the chicken sausages from Farm Foods just for an experiment! lol Jacqui

Ohoooooooooooo Betty! I have got Fred and Brian mixed up - Fred likes the curvey ones and Brian likes the chicken ones - still, I suppose both of them like big ones! Apologies my fine gentlemen. Jacqui

I win, I win, I win - I said CUMBERLAND. Somehow I think its a man's banger, not a ladies banger at all. Must be the way it curves round and round - I always want to ask them if they dress on the right or the left (the sausages, that is) - day dreaming again! lol Jacqui

i think its down to individual taste really...but ive never found a sausage to come close to beating the big,thick,juicey..cumberland..second would come...lincolnshire...but strange enough,i tried veggie sausages, and mash,in the hospital canteen today, and they were really nice. bryan.

Probably a Kennedy's Banger then eh? it's sad when a fellow's favourite banger can't be kept a secret for even the shortest time, isnt it? lol Jacqui
