A Matter of Courtesy

I am sure there are others who have had the same experience as myself. I take the trouble to contact somebody because I think we may have a contact, but frequently my messages are not even acknowledged unless there is evidence that it is so. Does it really hurt anbody to extend the courtesy of a simple reply saying that there is no obvious contact? June

I couldn't agree with you more, June, and have raised this very point myself. Fortunately, the number of lovely, kind and courteous people who use this site far outweigh the number of rude and inconsiderate ones. (Especially when allowing for the fact that some may not mean to not reply, may not get the original message or something.) Doesn't stop it being frustrating when it happens though!
