What your fruit is telling you

You know the little stickers attached to the loose fruit you buy, (could be some veg also), this is what I've heard the code to mean. If it has 4 numbers, that means it is conventionally grown, 5 numbers starting with 8 means GM (genetically modified), and 5 numbers starting with 9 means organically produced. Happy shopping Val

I never notice them. I just rip it off, battle to get it off my finger and then it goes in the bin. But now you've told us i'll check next time.

My fruit is telling me "get us out of the fruit bowl - we died"

Zoe I know what you mean. Fruit in our house is either devoured rapidly on being taking out of the shopping bag or sits reproachfully in the fruit bowl. Helen
