Yep we are the same the internet works im sure when it wants email is the same. The cable box is forever having to be rebooted at least once a day im sure ours is on its way out but they wont just replace it until its fully dead! We had a letter about a month ago saying as routine all 1mb customers will have their boxes changed and a free upgrade to 1.5 mb but we are still waiting for them to call us about that! I get a bit narked as we pay £37.99 and basically the service aint top notch! Jan x PS my husband keeps an incident log off all things which go wrong

daniel only had ntl for just under two months and had a problem within 24hrs of being installed .first was the television which kept locking up and we couldn't get the box to work.then realised we could not install our broadband.called the helpdesk which took twenty minutes to get through to only to be told that the engineer would be out within 24hrs.considering it took near on two weeks to try and install it.engineer arrived only to tell us that the engineer that had installed it hadn't put an existing cable into our tele and without this the computer wouldn't work.then we told him about the tele locking up to be told that it is quite common for this to happen and to turn the box off for ten minutes and switch back on.how unbelievable.we really do regret getting rid of sky and our internet user.the engineer has been called out again with a problem to our computer.maybe we should all write complaints to ntl and demand our contracts to be ceased.x

Hi Daniel, I was having trouble with my e-mails the other day like a lot of others. Although now i can recieve them, i can't recieve attachments. A lady has been trying to send me an 1891 census image but she keeps getting it returned - and it's not because my in box is full because it's nowhere near!! Pain in the backside. Tracey

hi daniel my mums been having trouble with them to, her e mail account keeps closing.and ntl say its a weak signal on the telephone line as their near the end of it.!!!!! I think your dads right if they have broken the contract through bad service then you have a right to cancel. Some solicitors give free advice, or the trading standards as said.already. i'm on tesco .net and have been very happy with them, i might try their broadband once its up and running. good luck and let us know the outcome sandra

We have just got off the phone from NTL saying we want to cancel of service with them They say yes, but for £302.00. Dad reckons we may need a solicitor's opinion. Keep all you ntl users updated.
