Awwwww thanks girlies. I agree we should share our sucesses as much as we do our brick walls. This has been a fab day for me, as you have already read, but to top it all a GC member member contacted me re these new found family members ( as i wasted no time at all in placing a couple in my tree) and guess what - WE'VE A CONNECTION. This very rarely happens in such a short space of time a WHOLE DAY. After all said and done I had been looking for grt granny for THREE YEARS!! Flippin fantastic..........must have a cuppa and calm down me thinks girlies. *Goes off singing ....."What a Beautiful dayyyyyyyyyyyyy .........." * Much much happiness Debi

Hi Margaret Lamb was a British name brought to Ireland - mainly living in the South. The gealic meaning is O'Luain ( Loane) and can be found in Revised and adapted from "Irish Pedigrees" by John O'Hart, (Dublin 1892). Hope this helps : ) Much happiness Debi

I'm up early this morning as I eagerley await a batch of BMD's in the post. I tossed and turned all night, couldn't sleep too excited. I've ordered BMD's before many a time but never been this excited lol!! I know it's because after 3 long years I finally found my Grt Granny's birth cert ( her father was recorded as UNKNOWN on her marriage cert - this will at least give me her mothers name though ) and after many name changes of my grt grt granny I finally think I have the right one too.I bet they dont come LOL!!...................Much happiness Debi
