Helen, funnily enough, his worst injury so far was playing football. He played junior football at Barnsley and got hit in the eye with the ball and spent 2 days in hospital! Donna, It's rugby league that he plays, not union, but hopefully he will be good enough to play for England one day, maybe Great Britain. He's only 19 so has plenty of time. He is home now and has just watched the game again with me. Feels like he has played it twice now! Maggy

Maggy My husband and both my boys play rugby. They get far more bruises from playing football. Once another mum said to me didn't I worry about my son being injured playing rugby. (He was 11 at the time). I said his team had had a lot of injuries, he had broken his collar bone, and three other boys had broken their arms...but he broke his collar bone in the playground at lunchtime, one broken arm was because the boy had fallen off his bike, another lad fell off his skateboard and the third one - son of the coach - fell out of bed on the morning of the county final and broke his arm! Enjoy the game and have some more wine!

Very proud of him Bryan. In fact it's on Sky again now, so I'm watching it again! Might enjoy it a bit more this time around, now that I know he is ok!! Maggy

Next best thing Jeanette, they got an 13-13 draw. He's on his way home from Wigan now, say's he's bruised his pelvis and in pain, but is ok. I needed a few glasses of wine to calm me down!! Maggy

Just watched my son playing rugby on Sky Sports (couldn't go because hubby is on nights) and he went down injured. It was agony!! Got back up and carried on playing, but don't our "kids" put us through it?? Maggy
