According to IGI, Sophia married one of them in 1852 and Susan married another one (son?) in 1884. The second Barz was born shortly after the first marriage and his father was Barz.

I think Lynda's find is Brizzilia Major born 1854's PARENTS and this is were the confusion must be. This little bit of info ( IGI on the LDS site ) could confirm the marriage of Major and Rowe as this could be a child of theirs: 10. Hi Trying to find out what happened to my great.great. grandfather. Barzillia Major was Born in 1854, in 1881 he was on the HMS Royal Adelaide in Devonport. Yet in 1891 Sophia is wife was a widow. Hope someone can help.Thank you Nigel
