I have just been trying to phone my local branch of a well known bank You have to call India for them to put you through to your branch up the road (India is on English local rate thankfully) to be told they are busy so you have to call back india key in 5 secret passwords and account numbers to then be told its still engaged and you cannot have your local branch number directly (maybe I should try MI5 less secretive) I am now going to what I should have done in the first place and get the bus to my local branch (Its raining I aint walking!!) and who says modern technology is the way forward? moan over lets hope the buses turn up or ill be having a go at them too lol love Jan x |

Life is definatly harder and more frustrating than it used to be. I tried to pay a bill online this morning, but it was not to clear what to do, so I tried to phone and hung on for so long and gave up and posted it.......the old fashioned way. Jo. |

hi janet i'm glad i'm not the only one today, i spent 4 hours in and out of banks trying to open an account, but my passport ran out in may, so though i had bills proof of address and loads of other stuff ,i haven't got two photo ids so i can't open one for my incapacity benefit to go in. But if i had been like the person next to me french, passpoort and student id, i would have got one. so i am well hacked off. i phoned dss and got cut off four times so i will leave it until i have calmed down, can't even get the form to open a post office account as i have to have a letter of request from the dss. lol sandra ps even though i have a barclaycard and was on barclays computer it still wasn't enough id |
