Daniel - how could the murderer hold down the victim's face in the water? the bloody stuff comes out so fast that there is not enough time to get a drink from it, let alone drown in it! If it was a small gash, then the murdered would have had to knock the victie unconscious (or nearly) and trickled the water into his mouth (some force would have been needed to compress the nose and open the mouth, resulting in some bruising to the face (you said no bruising!). sorry but i dont agree i enjoy writing murder stories and check details with police. heres why i disagree, if the person was alsleep when the murderer cut the bed he would of woken up, he also would of struggled which would of caused marks some where,i liked the heart attack answer better anyway thats my view ttfn .

I'm obviously wrong from other messages in this thread but my theory was that the dead person was in a hospital bed, and the scissors had been used to cut the tube from a drip giving life-saving fluid of some sort. Angela
