I didn't bother watching that programme as I would rather keep the sewers outside my house. One of the problems we have is that language used in programmes like this is described as "strong language". Er, no, it isn't strong - it is weak language; it is the language used by those who cannot string a cogent sentence together without the help of long pauses. "F***" is replacing "er" as a chance to gain time to think. If you want strong language, read Shakespeare - "Cry havoc, and let loose the dogs of war." That is strong! It is ironic, isn't it, that the biggest box-office hits are films that do NOT have foul language, blatant sex, and graphic violence? You would have thought that film (and programme) -makers would have taken the tip by now - people want a good story, with characters that you can have empathy for, if not identify with, and the bad guys loose. channel 4,is a disgrace to british television..we need another mary whitehouse..to put decency back on the box. last week,i heard two young lads saying..oh,you have to watch bo selecta,its brilliant...so out of interest,i did....there was this <foreign> guy in underpants,being so obnoxious,so crude...ime not a prude,but i switched off. as for the fulfords...6weeks basic army training !! bryan.
