how anyone can live on 102.00 is dissgraceful...no wonder so many senior citizens are admitted to hospital during the winter...at least they get warmth and three meals a day for a few weeks...thats if their allowed to stay that long. bryan.

the pension varies from person to person i think my mum and dad have to live on £102 a week between them and still pay full council tax of £142 a month, its a disgrace!!! on the other hand dads friend and his wife have a joint pension of £165 a week. can someone explain how they work the pension system out as im completely lost by it all! susie
