Can't wait. However I don't really care about the people featured, I'm sure it'll be intresting to find out how the hell we ended up with Jeremy Clarkson.

I have had one or two e-mails asking for more information about the forthcoming TV series on BBC2 called “Who do you think you are” about celebrities having help to trace their family history. No actual dates are given yet (only Autumn). The 10 celebrities featured are Bill Oddie-Amanda Redman – David Baddiel – Moira Stewart – Ian Hislop – Vic Reeves – Meera Syal – Sue Johnston – Lesley Garrett and Jeremy Clarkson. They were chosen because they had a genuine interest in tracing their family history. Apparently many interesting things came to light including cot death, depression etc. When I find out the actual details of transmission I will let you know (unless I am on holiday – 2nd-18th Sept!!). It says “this major family history project from the BBC will also include programmes on BBC4, a website and interactive support. Hope this answers your questions. Cheers - Chrissie
