we went to Alcudia last year, but booked it 3 weeks before we went,It cost us just over £1000 for 2 adults ans 2 children It was all inclusive though. We stayed at Hotels Jupiter/Saterno.It was brilliant, loads for the kids to do,clubs during the day and on the evening, and there was entertainment on every night.Only thing is,we were usually drunk by midday cos when you ask for a vodka and coke, you get more vodka than coke lol Anna :-)

Stayed at a hotel in Sa Coma, Mallorca last year. It was a set of appartments - we had two adjoining rooms with their own bathrooms and kitchen areas, and balconies. The hotel provided food in the restaurant and bar snacks as well as barbecue lunches by the pool. There was entertainment in the bar every night. It was called Sa Coma Gran Playa Apartamentos. They also sold paperbacks at the reception desk. We had an incredibly lazy holiday, I read by the pool, younger son played in the pool, older son played pool (as in snooker) and husband gave us money on demand! We had one morning playing crazy golf, and took a trip to see the magnificent dragon caves and visit the aquarium. Nell

Elaine, last time I was on holiday abroad was in Majorca...place called Pageura...(not sure of spelling). Now that was quite a wee while ago but it was very clean, friendly and not overly commercialised. So although there was night life etc it was a lovely wee place to take kids too....Central enough to get to the bigger towns....cant recommend a hotel to you I'm afraid as we stayed in a villa ... Hope you find somewhere lovely to go... jill x

Hiya, if you find a hotel you like the look of, go onto the website "holidaysuncovered dot com". Load of reviews from real holidaymakers, no holds barred!! Put me off booking a few!! Not just bad reviews though, there is a marking system -below average, average, good, very good and excellent. Also lots of tips about where to eat and where to avoid etc!! Try it, you might like it!! Best wishes, Carol.
