Yes I read it a few months ago, still sticks in my head and really makes you think. I just saw a T.V. show about it, the Author was on along with lots of other historians, Linda you are right it really makes you take a second look at the paintings. I always think that any book that makes you open your mind is a good book. Margaret

I agree about it opening your mind! Although I haven't finished it yet I think it will spur me on to find out more about the subject matter. I would love now to go and visit the Louvre in Paris, I have to see Mona in person! There are a number of us at work reading it at present and we have said we will have to form a discussion group about it! As you know there is so much to discuss!!

Hi Again, I live in British Columbia Canada, we have a small book club ,and this is one book we all really enjoyed, another book we all enjoyed was the Red Tent, we are all of different religions, including Jewish, but all found it very good, think this type of book fasinated me because of all the research that goes into it. Bye Margaret

A good read yes... But remember it *is* fiction. Most of Browns theories are just that and would be hotly disputed by Christian historians.

Hi Margaret, Yes I have read the Red Tent too! It was about 2-3 years ago, and like you marvel at the amount of research that goes into a book like that. I really enjoyed Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier (a fellow Canadian?!!) I read it sometime before the film was made, which I haven't actually seen yet! I am hoping to finish the Da Vinci Code this weekend...can't wait to see how it concludes! Bye, from Manchester UK! PS Sarah you MUST read Da Vinci Code!!
