It all seems so long ago! I was Silver Queen. A couple I used to chat to alot became such good friends and although I moved away years ago we still remain friends. A bit like here really. I'd never thought about that before. Jane

God do I remember ...I was called sabre..in the days before pc's A few months ago I had a guy come to my house to give pc a health check and it turned out he was someone I use to talk to on the old CB. Used to have great fun and joined in 2 quiz'es each week. was a member of a club,and had a base station as well as mobile. This was smashing as we used to drive in convoy to car shows (had a classic car) and was able to keep in touch and let each other know if we wanted to stop off for a cuppa......then along came mobile phones. I was Guinevere, my son was Funky Monkey,my daughter is little linnet, our close friends were Music man, crazy lady, mystery man,marina, telemedic,hunter, that`s just a few, we used to play fox hunt with our cars. We used to meet up at the cafe in ball hill coventry. I think we`ve all moved on from 10-1 set up`s now.

margaret your handle reminds me of allo allo lol. we still have a cb radio, my husband uses it and his handle is red fox, I only spoke on it once at christmas one year because I was pickled lol, we have an 18ft arial bolted on the back fence lol, my brother-in-laws handle was silver fox and my cousin whos handle was newcastle brown met his wife through the cb and some other people they used to talk to were invited to their wedding. jenny x
