As the song goes "Wherever I lay my hat, that's my home". Depends where I'm staying at the time but usually it's my own house. Kathy

when living in married quarters i always used to refer to home as mum and dads, id always say well be coming home next weekend, or whenever. hubby did remind me once that home ws where we lived with our kids, but id just remind hm how lucky we were to have 2 homes then. mum always said it was his home too in wales

What strange creatures we all are. I also said "home" when I visited my mother's house, even though I'd never lived there. Sylvia

I would call where I live with my husband and son "home" but I would also refer to my parents house where I grew up with my brothers and sister as "home" too.Home is where you make it but its all to do with who you make it with if you get my meaning!

"Home is where the heart is", "There's no place like home". What do you think?? If I say "I'm going home" here I mean where I live. If I say "I'm going home" when I'm on holiday, I also mean to my chalet, apartment, hotel etc. Any other interpretations??? Sylvia
