we lived in shanklin when we first moved over there. my parents live in sandown now and my sister is in cowes. shame it wasnt a couple of weeks ago i was there. when you going over? x

this saturday.got to try not to drink too much as i will have my daughter with me and always make it as a rule not to get totally slaughtered when she's there.we'll just jump on the hover we're be there.were you over there a few weeks ago then?x

yeah i was there for the last week in jul and the first week in aug. i go over quite regular coz mums not too healthy at the moment. do you go a lot? x

I used to live there and miss it so much. Love the way of life so relaxed if you like and up beat when you want. Cry on the boat everytime I leave!

Hello Lisa, Once helped with a boys' camp near Freshwater, which was great fun. The many years later, when I was a CEO in the NHS, we community folk in what was then the Wessex region met in one another's patches - I was from Bath, so furthest north! The time we went down to the island, we were told to catch the cat from Portsmouth, to be met by the Trust transport when we landed. Didn't tell us it was a prison van from Parkhurst! Quite appropriate, really! lol! Philip
