I e-mailed GC. Then I checked my contacts. Sure enough the 3 people whose trees I have permission to view have e-mailed me, but over queries which were on the main boards and not to do with either their tree or mine. Big tangle somewhere!

I have just checked mine. I only recognise one as a person I have contacted and with whom I have a distant relationship. The other 3 I did not recognise. I went to the list of relations and just scrolled down the surnames - none of them are anything to do with me. Will e-mail GC right now. nell

Be aware of this. I went into 'view trees' and found that I had so called permission to view about 13 trees, I should have at the most 4. I tested one of the ones I have not got permission for and it opened. (I immediately shut it down again). I was horrified and i have e mailed support about it. i now feel my tree is not secure. What have they done to this site?? there are more and more problems coming to light. we have to rely on the integrity of members not to open trees they don't have permission to open. Ann Glos
