They cheer me up too but we have to accept that people's opinion of acceptable is not the same as ours..... what I don't understand is why they continue reading the joke threads when they know the content is going to offend? I screen all the threads I chose to read and if I don't like the look of it I don't open it!! But hey i loved the Mary poppins one today!! ;O)

Just had an email from Elaine, and have emailed GC about this. Not normally the sort of person to complain to GC but enough is enough. Is there no such thing as free speach anymore? Rude and offensive threads have been allowed to stay on here before and now light hearted jokes can't?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! This is starting to get ridiculous and totally ruining the fun of the board. Couldn't believe it when I posted a 'let's all be friends' message and people started to argue on that! Amy x

Surely everyone can be adult about it!! If you start to read something that you don't like - don't finish reading it. Everyone has a different sense of humour etc. Why is there this need to keep reporting harmless threads all the time? People need to get out more if they are offended so easily. Personally I would love to see Elaine's jokes back on here as I always laughed at them and then passed them onto my friends!!! Come back Elaine we miss you loads XXXXXXXXXX

people are crying out on another thread ( now been deleted)that the "minority" of persons who have complained to GR regading the thread and that they should name themselves....I wonder if it is the same small minority who complained to GR about my jokes....interesting one that. Elaine x

I agree - if you read a thread that seems to be 'not to your liking' ignore it and go back to the message list. It is not COMPULSARY to comment!!! Bring back the jokes!!!
