dictator tony blair has done it again.gone ahead and done something without asking the pensioners what they want.pension books are just a distant memory for the pensioners now after tony blair made pensioners give up there books and open a bank account so that it would make it easier for the goverment and save them money by closing the post offices.what a cock up when 1 million pensioners have been left with no money after a computer fault.tell me tony how are these poor people meant to live.these pensioners who have fought in the war and seen hardship.now there feeling hardship again by having no money.your a disgrace .start concerntrating on issues at home.listen to your own people rather than your own voice.

Hi Lisa Tony Blair has not only tried to stop pensioners getting their pensions by their books. But he has also stopped the Widow's pension for women (that have no children) that are under 60 this happened nearly 2 years ago.And they did not publicise this was coming into force at all they kept it very quiet only told the DSS.My husband died nearly 2 years ago and I was told I would get widow's pension. But NO the only money I got was for a year and it was called widow's allowance,My husband was a pensioner 65 yrs old when he died. I have always worked and I am still working but I do not get any help with Council Tax or rent for my coucil flat even though I have all the same bills coming in as when my husband was alive yet before we met my husband was getting help with both rent and council tax.DO YOU THINK THIS COULD BE DISCIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN.
