Thanks Geoff Didn't realise you could get to the message boards that way. Will use that in future. Unfortunately a lot of people will still go in the way I normally do and the problems will still occur. Maybe GR should get rid of the link on the left. Am I just being picky??

You can choose the message board that you want on the right-hand side of your homepage - just avoid the "Message Boards" link on the left.

Well said, Joanne. I have e-mailed GR and they said they have passed my "constructive comments" on to the Development Team. Watch this space... nell

Hi Everyone. I just posted this on the Success Board (since most of the messages on there are not success stories anyway!). Does anyone think that GR will listen? Plus, from previous instances where people are putting hoax and offending messages on that board, why not make it so only subscribers can add to the board, they are probably the ones who are finding ancestors anyway and having success and surely that would be more of an incentive to join the site. If anyone can find masses of info without joining, would we all have paid our membership fees?? quote "I think the Success Book should be located on the homepage for first timers and non subscribers to view, to show them how subscription to this site could benefit them. The other sites, which are for full subscribers, should be located elsewhere. As a full subscriber I'm not bothered about looking at the Success Board as I know the benefits of my membership - I don't particularly want it staring me in the face everytime I go to look at the other boards. Hopefully those in charge look at the boards from time to time and will see our suggestions and take them on board. Joanne"
