Ernest, It was me that mentioned your name, when your thread was mentioned, I said it was yours meaning that it didn't have a connection. The reason I knew there was no connection, was because you have never been afraid to say what you think using your own name. I am truly sorry if this has caused you upset, that was not the intention. I think it is me that you are talking about,and i thank you both very much i couldnt,have explained as well as you have there was no way i thought it was Ernest in fact i couldnt remember at the time who it was,someone replyed and said that was Ernest. I did put a message on the board for him,but just got lost so i deleated it yesterday,but on saying that i have since emailed Ernest,who replyed and said he was not upset by anything i had said in fact he hadnt even seen it,because someone had emailed him while all the trouble was going on,and told him that i had made this remark,time he was able to get on to site he unable to see it ,we all know it was deleated. I seldom use these boards because of this very thing ,i feel now you have to be very careful of what you say,in case you are pounced on. Once again i thankyou both. Regards Mary

Dear Ernest I too was on the board and on the thread to which you are referring. It was a very worrying time - a member's account had been hijacked in order to prove that it could be done, and that there was a glitch in GR's security. At 9.20pm, the person in question asked members to 'guess their identity'. Two hours later, they were still stringing us along and not admitting who they were - it was actually getting quite ridiculous, as many of us were concerned enough about the situation to stay up when we were too tired to do so. As Mags has already said, you were in no way implicated. All that was said by a member was she wondered if this was what you had referred to in your thread entitled 'a storm is brewing'. And to be perfectly honest, that was rather a cryptic thread! Many of us didn't have a clue what you were getting at! The person who mentioned your name (and only 'mentioned', no accusations were made at all) then posted a thread of apology. In this thread, you are now mentioning 'she' - I'm certain that at no time was a female mentioned as a possible identity of the 'hijacker' (for want of a better word). However, by being cryptic once again and saying 'she' instead of the person's name, nobody will be able to give any possible explanation. Best wishes, Mandy

Hello Ernest, I was on the board and that thread. In no way were you implicated in what was going on. Another member merely wondered if the problem was the 'storm' that you had mentioned in your thread 'there's a storm brewing' There was no discussion along the lines of you being responsible for the fracas at all. We all know you as being forthright and honest in your communications with this board and I for one would like to apologise for any misunderstanding that has arisen. I believe that member did leave a message 'For Ernest' shortly after the thread was deleted. I have a copy of the conversation if you would like to see it. With best wishes Magsx

Apparently Sometime over the last two days, athread was placed on this board Called" This isn't Right". For some reason certain members tried to link this to myself and a fellow member. I want to say this NOW. If I have anything to say on this or any other board I will not hide behind the identity of somebody else and that goes for anybody I want to talk to or about, Member or administrator. What I say is open and there for all to see. I will confront any person if I think that the cause that I speak for is just and warranted. I would have thought that the threads that I have placed on this board during the last seven days and in the past support this statement. Incidently I have spoken to the other member whose name was also linked to this. And I have her solumn assurance that she had nothing to do with it. And as I know the person I will tell you that I believe the denial of involvement. One person has e mailed an apology which I have accepted and we are prepared to accept any others that you feel are due. Remember when i have been digging my heels in on this site it has been on behalf of all of you. Ernest Prendergast
