Essex Baz

Essex Baz Report 29 Aug 2004 20:17

Mind you, looking at what you`ve achieved in the last few days, I might go back to the other side of the island. Who`s in charge, what arrangement have you made for food, the shelters are totally inadequate, far too close to the waters edge, should be on higher ground, because if we have another hurricane, the water will swamp everything, including your rescue fire. That also should be on the highest point possible. Where`s your fresh water supply. I passed a stream about 300yds further back, with an ideal clearing for a camp, and with plenty of privacy for both sexes.

Have you got room for one more ? Safety in numbers, and all that

Essex Baz Report 29 Aug 2004 19:57

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 29 Aug 2004 18:05

OOOOOOOOOOHHH! David, Hercules would be sooooo envious! That pilot is still circling around, I wonder if Baz has seen him from the other side of the island? Down, Jean!!!! We've got a fire to keep going!

David

David Report 29 Aug 2004 17:44

Do you mean take of my shirt and show my bronzed muscular well honed body to attract the attention of of all the ladies lounging in the shelters to come to the beach, or to attract the pilot or both maybe???. Anyway here goes, trouble is i can't see for smoke. I think they have seen us?? come on everyone gather on the beach. David

DorothyG Report 29 Aug 2004 16:41

Yes, it's over there look!!!!!! Oh No!!!! that's why it's making so much noise, there's smoke coming from one of the engines!!! Oh, David, what are we to do? I know, we'll light a fire, that'll attract attention!! Quick, gather some twigs and things..... ok? Right, now I think it's going, gather some greenery and put loads on top so that it makes a lot of smoke!!!! Who knows, if Baz or Grampa Jim see the smoke, they may come over to where we are. Come on, build up that smoke!!! No don't sit around Jean, get some more grass.

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 29 Aug 2004 16:28

David, Jean, hurry up!!!! I'm sure the noise is fading away, we must hurry: have you got anything white we could wave like flag....oh, I guess it doesn't have to be white does it? Jean, take your slip off, and I'll do the same, David, take your shirt off ..... come on, wave like mad. (Running, despite high heels!!!) come on, we're nearly there, and I think the noise is getting louder again, perhaps they're circling round. Did anyone see Baz, or Grampa Jim, or any of the other girls?

David

David Report 29 Aug 2004 16:21

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 29 Aug 2004 16:12

Hi Dorothy If you noticed just beyond the area were i laid out the S O S there is a large clearing, i have cleared the worst of the rocks away and tied a piece of white cloth to indicate wind direction, hope we are found soon David

Hello Lindy Fat Cook, is Brunch nearly ready? Joanne, did you find all the animals that were on the Cruise? There were some quite friendly dogs that belonged to some of the passengers. David, that was a brilliant idea! I've been and looked at the S.O.S., I'm sure they will get seen. So, could you recruit some people to mark out a landing runway, if a small plane sees the signal, they will need a clear area to come down on to. Talk to you later.

Good morning i'm knackered after helping Black widow erect all these shelters, i spent the night laying out an S O S signal with rocks on the beach incase any search planes are looking for us, got lots of blisters and aching back, had a good long sleep though. Going to have a wander to see who's about and try to get something to eat. David

I bet she went off on her own and got lost..I suppose I had better take a walk around the Island and look for that "idiot" girl.. Why her mother let her out of the house I shall never know....sigh.. Some mother's children mutter! mumble...

I have been very busy. Found an axe that someone had left laying about. Boris now has a kennel, I have a lovely big lean to thingy. My building skills arnt up to much yet, but it is warm and dry. Garden is to the rear and side of lean to, so is handy for my veg and stuff. Am now working on a kitchen for Lindy. Maggie
