Have you seen those tummy toners advertised, where you kneel on the floor and push backwards and forwards with your arms? I achieved the same result using a rolling pin, not a solid one, but the type where the roller turns independently of the handles.

Hi Amy, i picked one of those ab thingys that you lie on the floor with and helps you do stomach crunches for £3 at a boot sale. They normally sell for about £15 in the shops. Its very easy to use and comes apart so you can put it away when you finish. They really do work if you use them for about 5-10 mins each day.

where you can get cheap ish exercise equipment. I've decided that I really need to get fitter so thought I'd buy something. I would join a gym but I do that every year and go about ten times and then never go again so thought I would buy something to have in the house instead. Does anyone know of anywhere where you can relatively cheap stuff. I'm not really wanting one of those £300 super exercise bikes or enything! Just something quite basic, would probably break anything fancy! Amy x
