I have been a member for less than a year and find it so sad when members leave. I joined to search both mine and my husbands family and have met such great people who are willing to give their time to help novices such as me. The site encouraged people to help one another and now it seems to have generated into one argument after another - please do not let this happen - I do not know why you are leaving - we all have the same aim - family history - and yet silly arguements are tearing us apart - the site has changed but our ideals have not changed - we all want to know more about our past and together we can do so...lets go forwards together...please |

Hi Lynda I do hope that you are not upset by someone's actions, how about having a little break and then see how you feel. You know this site, and others, are like one big family, sometimes there are arguments but they all soon get smoothed over. After all its just differences of opinions. Hello I just wanted to explain, sorry was so tired last night, should have left things until today. This site has given me a great deal, not only help with the genealogy side, but on all fronts. There are a great bunch of people on here,I'll miss you, but I feel I must move on and take on other things now, I need to get out a bit more (sounds like the old joke!!) I want to get back into writing and my Astrology (ah you didn't know about that did you) so will probably look round for some local groups to join. Also need to look at learning to drive, sorry anyone from Brighton, can't warn you when I'll be on the roads lol As far as the genealogy goes, I have come to the end of what I can find on line now, It's going to mean the odd visit if I can to where my rellies came from for Parish Records etc. I don't want to send the kind people who look up on a wild goose chase. I wish everyone who is going through difficult times the strength to get through.
