victoria we have a good bank but i would advise to go to your main bank for help.we went to our local bank and they were very unhelpful and were not prepared to help even though my husband had banked with them for twenty five years.his main bank wavered the overdraft charges which helpedxxx(:

When my ex left me, he left me a £1500 overdraft and my bank were very good they suggested that I open a new account and pay it back monthly took just over a year but I did it I must admit my bank have always been very helpful!

it's differcult to do that when they let you run up a debt of nine hundred pounds.we have payed off 800 pounds from another account but bans don't inform you until you have no way of turning back.luckily we had a big chunk of the money to pay off from another account, but alot of people don't have that money and on top of that they have to pay interest for the overdraftxxx(:

Change bank accounts and then make and then pay off the O/D in monthly installments they don't deserve your money!

what a bloody rip-off that's all i can say.we have an overdraft which the bank has kindly put up for us without our knowledge let us overdraw over that and has the cheek to charge us twenty five pounds for every withdrawel over that.then when we say we wat to lower our overdraft or not take money out when we hit our overdraft limit then they say we can't.i ask who's money are they playing with and whose the customer!it makes me mad!!!!!!
