I think I have a dyslexic postman! I regularly receive neighbours' mail and twice during the school hols he knocked and requested the mail he had just delivered back because it was for next door. I also received an A4 envelope a month after it was postmarked. When I rang the sorting office I was told it must have been overlooked in a sack!!!

We too have trouble, we get none for a couple of days, then we get a door-mat full. Not good enough!.

Mum had 4 birthdays cards today all posted 1st class, (it was her birthday yesterday) she describes it as a bit of a damp squib, when they arrive late. The most local 2 within 1/2 mile and 25 miles took 2 days to arrive, the furthest 2 took 3 days. Yesterday she got 1 card posted 1st class, with a 7.15pm postmark from previous day, and the delivery didn't take place till 3pm. Why do we pay 1st class prices for a 2nd class service?
