Why is it when you send email to GR they never answer, unless they don,t know the answer but it would be nice to have a reply. All I wanted to no was ,How can I delete my tree and start again as there are errors on it and I cant seem to be able to remove them , Not that hard for them as it there site. Sara still waiting after a week or more.

I think you have to click on import/export and there is a delete tree thing to click on. jenny x

I know a site where you can get site support (almost and more often than not) immediately! Fi

IN MY EXPERIENCE, they get back to you as quickly as possible. How many members does this site have - I don't know off hand, but it has to be hundreds of thousands - now think how many emails they must get per day. What I'm saying is... give them a chance. This "other place" thats mentioned... how many members do they have ? No doubt it's a fraction of the numbers here... Paul (attempting to use a bit of common sense)

I can only speak from my experience. My queries have been answered. When there was a delay on one occasion, I complained, and got a reply within 24 hours. And frankly I have to say... there's a HUGE difference between 300 members and 100,000+ members I'm not against the use of other sites by the way, just don't think it's fair to compare the two.

Paul, It appears to me that you are the one that brought Kelly's new site onto this thread and seem to want to compare the two sites. They do not compare apart from the fact they are genealoy sites but as has been said before on other threads, each site has its own merits Janet

Actually no, I didn't mention any particular site, and it was the message before mine that said there was somewhere else that you got immediate replies

I've been waiting now for over a month for a reply to the very same question. I've been sending reminders regularly. I realise that they receive hundreds if not thousands of mails each day, but I've paid my subscription and I can expect at least an acknowledgment of my emails. Having said that though, the portal isn't bad at all.

Speaking strictly from my own experience, I've never had any trouble getting replies from GR. They've always answered my emails within the specified 2 days, and what I particularly like is that their replies are 'personal', not a standard draft. Mandy :)

Now I'm upset - I thought I was the only one that got "personal" emails :)

I would like to thank all of you for your help and I hope GR read these messages and see that an aknowledgement of an email would be nice it could be a standed email sent out so as least we know they have recieved it as well. Sara
